1. Free film clips

Why pay for expensive clips to hang up your wet films?
Here are some free film clips.
Get hold of one of your wife's or girlfriend's skirt hangers,
the type with two spring loaded clips.
Slide the clips to the ends of the hanger bar and cut them off flush
with the side of the clips.( See photo ).
Next drill a hole (about 6mm dia.) in each finger grip and Hey Presto!
you have two nice film clips for free.
NOTE: Do not remove remaining portions of bar as the clips will fall apart!


2. Cheap developing dishes

Plastic cat litter trays, costing about £1.50, make handy
developing dishes, especially if you don't often make large prints.
They will handle up to about 11" x 15" print size, and can be obtained in
various colours to prevent mistakes in the darkroom.
And at those prices, they can be discarded if they get
stained or damaged.
