 Aquarius - January 21 - February 19:
Aquarius is the fixed air sign of the zodiac.
Aquarian ideas may be unusual or even original, but once formed, they tend to remain fixed.
The Aquarians connection with water ensures that they are able to take superb pictures of water in all it's forms.
There is a wide selection of subject matter from rushing streams, calm rivers, waves crashing on the sea-shore and even melting ice.
As an Aquarian, you should try to resist giving in to the temptation to use excessively slow shutter speeds for your images, as this tends to give running water the unnatural texture of cotton wool!

 Pisces - February 20 - March 20:
Pisces is the mutable water sign of the zodiac.
Mutable means changeable, and water can change its form in many ways: rain, hail, mist, warm pools, and puddles.
Pisceans are attracted to water, but their interest lies in the many varieties of fish that inhabit the depths.
They love diving and underwater photography and spend most of their time snapping fish and other creatures.
Pisceans should keep a sharp look out for the more aggressive creatures, or they will soon discover that they are not the only ones 'snapping!

 Aries - March 21 - April 20:
Aries is the cardinal fire sign of the zodiac.
Fire is a process that causes change and Aries uses energy to bring about changes.
Aireans have a naturally affinity with the Ovine members of the countryside. They are strangely attracted to the domestic sheep (Ovis aries), and like nothing better than getting Larry and friends close-up.
Aireans must be careful though, as continued close proximity to their woolly friends can result in Aireans falling foul to a nasty infestation of sheep ticks.

 Taurus - April 21 - May 21:
Taurus is the fixed earth sign of the zodiac.
This sign represents an enduring, practical reality.
Like the Aireans, Taureans are open air lovers and enjoy wandering over the countryside.
They can often be seen taking landscape photos with cattle in the foreground.
Occasionally one may observe a Taurean running at top speed being pursued by another 'taurean'!

 Gemini - May 22 - June 21:
Gemini is the mutable sign of the zodiac.
It can be likened to the wind in that it is constantly on the move in all its variety.
Air is a metaphor for the invisible thoughts and ideas that motivate Gemini.
Gemini constantly adjusts ideas in an attempt to create harmony.
Photographers who are born under the sign of Gemini have always had a tendency to take double exposures and the advent of digital imaging has given them the the ability to produce more complex images much easier and faster.
As a 'Gemini', you must resist this urge to see everything in life in duplicate, and to get your life back on the single track.

 Leo - July 23 - August 21: 21:
Leo is the fixed fire sign of the zodiac.
Leos like transforming things with their energy. Being a fixed sign, Leos may be loyal, stubborn, and proud of their achievements.
Those born under the sign of the Lion are usually the hardy outdoor adventurer types.
In previous times they would have been big game hunters, but now they do their 'shooting' with a long lens.
Like the Pisceans they need to watch their backs as some subjects may take an exception to 'candid' photography.

 Cancer - June 22 - July 22:
Cancer is the cardinal sign of the zodiac.
It can be likened to a safe harbor in which boats can take shelter from the dangers on the sea of life. Water finds its own level -- it settles.
Cancerians like nothing more than wandering along the seashore peering into rock pools and overturning rocks in order to take macro shots of the crustaceans and other creatures.
This behaviour may be linked to a tendency to 'nit-pick' and make an issue out of tiny irritations.
Try to look at the world in a wider concept and to realise that there is a great big world out there beyond your macro lens.

 Virgo - August 22 - September 23:
Virgo is the mutable earth sign of the zodiac.
It indicates adaptable practicality and can be likened to a semi-shaded patio filled with a great variety of plants, climbers, and an arbor and other unexpected practical delights.
Art, Nude and Glamour images are the main interest of those who dwell under Virgo.
Their work is sometimes controversial and often unfairly included in the pornography genre.
A word of warning! Taking pictures of people on Naturist beaches is frowned upon and may get you a black eye for your trouble, and possibly a visit from the local constabulary.

 Libra - September 24 - October 23:
Libra is the cardinal sign of the zodiac.
It is like a finely tuned wind instrument, producing powerful, moving music in perfect harmony.
Libras are doers rather than thinkers, although they may spend a long period thinking about a situation before making a decision and acting upon it.
Librans tend to be very fussy, even to the point of being obsessive.
They take great pains to obtain the precise exposure and will spend ages getting the lighting and composition just right.
You need to lighten up a bit, realise that not everything has to be perfect, try taking some shots on 'auto'............................................

 Scorpio - October 24 - November 22:
Scorpio is the fixed water sign of the zodiac.
The relentless power of water to penetrate and transform even the hardest rocks is an excellent metaphor through which to understand the driving passion of a Scorpio.
Once started, Scorpio cannot easily be deflected from his or her purpose.
The Scorpion mainly lives in hot sunny climates.
Scorpio's also favour the sun and as a result take all their shots on bright sunny days, not always the best option for good images.
Maybe you should wait for a nice damp/wet misty morning, put on your mac and wellies, and go out to take some nice atmospheric shots.
Don't worry you won't die from influenza.

The Archer half-man, half-horse.
This symbolizes the Sagittarian's attempt to free itself from man's animal nature, a desire for direction, and a higher purpose.
Sagittarian's don't just take photographs, they produce images with depth and meaning that symbolize the human condition......................etc, etc.
You need to lighten up, and return to normality.

 Capricorn - December 23 - January 20:
Capricorn is the cardinal earth sign of the zodiac.
It can be likened to the oldest and most valuable tree in the forest.
Surefooted and thoroughly practical, in the end the Capricorn goat always reaches the heights.
Being born under Capricorn, you have a thoroughly practical approach to photography in that you simply get on with taking pictures, unencumbered with all the accessories and gadgets that others regard as being indispensable.
